How To Stop Heart Palpitations

Introduction

After many years of research, I’m updating my report to include new and improved protocols for anyone wondering about how to stop heart palpitations.  For those reading this now that are suffering palpitations, I sure know how you feel!  There is nothing quite like suffering palpitations (except maybe dying)!  Palp sufferers get to experience dying-like symptoms often several times a day!  What this does to your body and your psychic is terrible.

If you are like I was, you might even reach a time when you are afraid to leave the house.  This nasty ailment can threaten your job!  You become afraid to exert yourself and you avoid robust activities.  Everyone around you suffers.

Well, I may have good news for you.  Most doctors will tell you that palpitations won’t kill you.  And they are mostly correct.  The worry might kill you, but the palpitations won’t.  You’d be surprised just how strong a human heart is.  I went into ER one time with a heart rate of 220 beats per minute.  I peed a quart of water every fifteen minutes because of the increased pressure on my kidneys.  It took them about three hours to bring my heart rate down.  Imagine running two full marathons and not being able to stop!

I want you to read this stuff with an open mind.  Whether you are trying to find out how to stop heart palpitations or just want someone to talk with about this issue, just contact me through the contact page and we’ll exchange email addresses.  I routinely chat with about 40 people around the world right now.

My blog style is probably very different than you might be used to.  I am very personable, and I take an interest in all those that contact me.  At the same time, I am will say some things that might go against every bit of training you’ve had.  In the end however, I’ve managed to stop my palpitations and keep them away now since 2007.

Why Doesn’t Your Doctor Doesn’t Know How To Stop Heart Palpitations?

After people find their own cure for palpitations, they always right back to me and ask this question.  ”Why the hell doesn’t my doctor know this stuff?”   I hate to burst your illusion, but traditional medicine today is not concerned about you getting well.  You may think they are, and they may go through some rudimentary “acting as though the are”, but in reality, it’s all about selling you some drugs.  Don’t believe me?  How many of you reading this have been told to go on “Beta Blockers” to fix your palps?

Follow the Money

Everything on the planet is about money.  Always Follow the money.  There is no money in healthy people.  The money is in the sick.  Big Pharma and the large multinational chemical companies are depending upon you sticking to the plan.  They’ve been training you since birth to stay on the plan.  Those who deviate from the plan are hammered.  The Japanese say, “the nail that sticks out, gets hammered in!”  I won’t waste a lot of time explaining this right now.  If you want to see more, go to my other blog Boomer News and read all about the politics of living.

:)

So, What’s What Was The Cause of Your Palps?

Western diets are loaded with foods that promote excess acidity in our systems.  When we drink tap water – or even worse – Desani or Aquafina bottled water, we are getting water that is acidic (pH 5.5).  Your body, being the amazing machine it is, will always counteract the acid by taking minerals from your bones to “buffer” the acid.  Over the long haul, this will lead you to things like IBS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, arthritis, and many more diseases…including cancer!  Once again, this whole area is discussed in detail on Boomer News.

If you drink cola/soda (Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, 7-Up and others…) then you are drinking fluid that is pH 2.5.   The only thing you can do that is worse than this is drink battery acid or take pharmaceutical drugs.  One can of Coke will require you to drink 32 eight ounce glasses of high alkaline water just to neutralize the damage from that one Coke!

And … The Culprit Is?

Inflammation!  Excess acidity,  or chronic acidosis, triggers a state of dysbiosis in our bodies that leads to hormonal and endocrine imbalances that cascade out of control over time.  Inflammation is the bodies first response to trauma.  Even stress can cause acidosis that leads to inflammation.  So with stress and diet teaming up, we have a problem.  In all of us, the vagus nerve transverses the body from the base of the brain stem to the groin.  In many cases, the pericardium or “heart sac” becomes inflamed.  When this inflammation sets in, the heart sac and many other ancillary organ support mechanisms are affected. The vagus nerve and the phrenic nerve appear to be the most affected by the increased inflammation and pressure.  I believe they are at the root of the palp triggering mechanism.

I Fear Going To Bed At Night!

Some people will find that when they lay on their left sides when going to bed at night, they will get palpitations within about three to five minutes.  This is a sure sign that your V&P nerves are involved.  Others will bring on palps simply by bending over in the shower to pick up the soap! Another way to bring them on is to consume something really cold like a cold water or beer.

Doctors, unfortunately, are trained and conditioned to see your issue as symptoms to be masked.  They’ll offer a array of blockers.  I was given Rhythmol, my brother was offered Atenolol.  These drugs slow down the palps, but they sure do make you feel awful.  I could not see going through life feeling like that.  After a week on Rhythmol, I began to cut back on them and to look for alternative measures.  I really needed my own fix.  I had no idea it would take me 6 years to find the cure for myself, but bit by bit I pieced the “risk factors” for my palpitations.

Here’s My List of Risk Factors for Palpitations

  1. Mercury – from amalgam fillings or vaccines
  2. Flossing Teeth
  3. Toxic foods and drink
  4. Fish of all kinds – they contain too much mercury
  5. Fish Oils – all fish oils!
  6. Refined Sugar
  7. Fructose
  8. Aspartame
  9. Iodine deficiency
  10. Pop and soft drinks
  11. Bottled Water
  12. Sugary Juice
  13. Heavy animal fatty foods like prime rib

What I Did To Rid myself of Palpitations Forever

I joined dozens of “health blogs” and I chatted with people all over the world who suffered palpitations.  I databased their lifestyles, diets, physical types, their environment and their supplement intake.  I began studying several hours per day at the US National Library of Medicine and the Duke Phyto Nutritional Database.

My first breakthrough happened in 2004 when I was chatting with a fellow by the name of George on the Irish Health blog.  George had made some significant headway with ALOE GEL.  I went to the Duke database and discovered that many of the same ingredients that are in IMMODIUM are also in Aloe Gel.  DO NOT CONFUSE ALOE GEL WITH ALOE JUICE.  THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

I started experimenting with Aloe Gel and was blown away by the very rapid response.  Aloe gel is highly alkalizing.  It works in the stomach to alkalize an overly acidic environment.  The effect of aloe gel on inflammation was profound.  At first, I drank one ounce of aloe gel twice a day.  One ounce at breakfast and one ounce about an hour after dinner.  My palpitation attacks went from several a day to two a week!

Next I cut out all fish and fish oils and I stopped consuming all refined sugar.  No candy, no pop, no pastries and donuts.  And no aspartame ever!  (This is one of the most dangerous chemicals on the planet.)

After about two months, I was down to one palp per month.  I cut my aloe gel back to just one ounce per day.  Today, several years later, I take it maybe once per week.  The gel I used was Lilly of the Dessert Brand.  I believe it is available at all GNC stores plus most good health food stores. It is made in Texas, USA.  I highly recommend that you get some of this ASAP if you are suffering palps.  You might find relief on the first day like I did!

I almost forgot to mention that I had may amalgam fillings taken out too.  They give off mercury vapors all day long.  Your dentist might argue this, but if he does, he’s simply uneducated.  Send your dents this YouTube Video.  How would you like your mouth to be spewing those vapours?

I also started to floss every day.  The bacteria that grow between the teeth are huge factors affecting your heart.  keep those teeth clean!  Side note:  Cutting down on sugar helps because those bacteria live off the sugar you eat.

Today, to maintain my strong alkalinity and to be totally free of palps, my routine includes some supplementation as follows:

  1. Nutrex – Natural Spirulina, 500 mg, 400 tablets
  2. Source Naturals Broken Cell Wall Chlorella, Pure Micro-Algae, 500mg, 200 Tablets (Pack of 2)
  3. ZeoForce – 400 g – Powder
  4. TruNature Tonalin CLA – Conjugated Linoleic Acid – 180 Softgels
  5. Nutrex Hawaii BioAstin Natural Astaxanthin 4mgs., 120 gel caps
  6. Nutiva Organic Hempseed Oil, 24-Ounce Bottle
  7. Vega Antioxidant EFA Oil Blend By Sequel – 8.5 Ounces
  8. Lily Of The Desert – Aloe Vera Gel Whole Leaf, 32 fl oz gel

Summary

For a quick start to end or slow down my palpitations so that I could live again… I got hold of ALOE GEL and drank an ounce of it twice per day.  I got immediate relief!   That gave me the comfort to continue studying.  Over the years, I narrowed down the other risk factors and the nutritional aspects that I have outlined.  I am not saying it will be  your answer too. I did get  emails from an NHL player and a fighter from UFC who both reported that they cured their palps within a week.  I’ve hear similar results from people in Egypt, South Africa, England, France, Canada, and Russia.

If you are suffering, I wish you the best of luck finding your fix.  If you want to talk about it, I have all the time in the world for you.  No one should ever have to go through this.

I continue to research and refine my wellness research.  If this field is something that interests you, then you should send me your email in the form at the top right and we can be in touch.  I’ll send you reports and research articles that you might be interested in.

I thought fish oil is very good for you? I was told that fish oil tablets can stop heart palps. I still get palpitations, racing heart and missed beats. I am too afraid to go anywhere now!

I have had ecg’s and all that, all came back with good results? I might cut down the fish oil and see how it goes, i will give aloe vera a go also.

    Man this sucks!!

    • Max says:

Most fish oil comes from fish that have too much mercury in them. Use Astaxanthin as your source of fish oil. Also, use Sequel brand EFA Oil Blend. There is a link to it on Amazon on this site. And make sure it is not just aloe vera. Some people get confused and buy aloe juice. This is not the same thing as Aloe Gel! It must be Aloe Gel! I use Lilly of the Desert Brand Aloe Gel. Works like a charm. I know palps are bad. You feel like you are going to die all the time. You can beat it. But if your eating habits are acid western foods, then you won’t get rid if them. It all comes down to how badly you want them gone. When was the last time you drank a pop? You need to alkalize… or you’ll have to live with what you create.

    • Max says:

      Hey Rob,
Sorry I missed this earlier.. .but you could switch to “astaxanthin” which is the worlds most abundant source of natural antioxidant fish oil. It is not polluted as the deeper fish are. Google the stuff and you’ll see. You can even squeeze a capsule into your regular olive oil to make it last longer without going rancid.

Another great oil is made by Sequel. Called EFA Oil. This is not my site, but they have some good comments about it.

I have been suffering from tachycardia for the past 3 years. One can only imagine how this impacts your life. Your right when you say nobody should go through this. Not only are you feeling a fast heartbeat most of your day but the anxiety that is making your heart beat so fast. That anxiety is what makes the suffering so horrific. Your article has given me hope and I started taking the aloe vera gel. It’s funny how priceless health really is in this world. I hope everyone realizes that.

    • Max says:

You are so right on! Someone once said that man is the only species that will spend his whole life (and health) in pursuit of money, then right and the end he’ll spend all his money to get his health back! Are we stupid!

I had tachycardia too. It was atrial fibrillation. 220 beats per minute for four hours once. I think I slept for 6 hours after than one.

Inflammation leads to palps and that triggers anxiety because we think we are dying. And all of THAT trigger atrial fibrillation. You can beat this. It takes many months of reduced attacks before one’s mind gets that we are going to be ok. For me a trick was to get mad at the attacks. Psychological responses typically begin with surprise, then fear, then anxiety, then either psychosis or anger – depending upon your mental state. I chose to go right to “pissed off”. Of course being Irish helps tremendously.

We have to distance ourselves from mercury (in teeth, in vaccines, in fish, in fish oil, etc…) and from fluorine and chlorine in water. Also refined sugar is very very bad. If you can get hold of some organic KALE, that stuff is outstanding for helping to alkalize you. It is a very powerful antioxidant.

      All the best to you…
      Nick.

Great site, am glad i stumbled upon it. I am intrigued to read about the acid stuff as I started having palps about two years ago, from out of nowhere!! Went to Doc, he chked bp & heart, I was ok. 23 Sept. this year ended up in A & E thought I was having a stroke/heart attack, got palps and other stuff driving home from work. Loads of tests, ecg, xrays, bloods etc. All clear, blamed stress. Even though I don’t feel stressed I still suffer from palps. But, as I sit here having a glass of wine … plenty of acid & blah sugar it seems worth a try to cut it out!! (which I have about two of five nights a week). Thanks. As I don’t eat fish, maybe once a month, don’t take vitamins or drink fizzy drinks & drink alot of water seems might be the problem, either that or the lattes as I’ve heard caffine ain’t good for palps either. Cheers. Ellen

    • Max says:

      Hi Ellen,
I’m blown away by the sheer number of us that suffer from this. I no longer do, but I get a ton of email from all over the world from people who do. It seems that doctors really just don’t see enough business in this market to fix things. That’s why I trotted off to find my own cure.

Doctors always blame the “usual suspects” – Coffee, stress, anxiety, overweight, underweight and more. All have that is a waste of air. I’ve found that for most of us the key is in the connection between the digestive tract and the heart. There are a pile of things that influence that relationship, but if you want a real fast relief, here’s what you do.

Go to your best local health food store and find “Lily of the Dessert” brand ALOE GEL. Get an 8 ounce bottler – cost is about $9. Drink one ounce of ALOE GEL three times a day for a week. Then cut back to once a day, then only as needed. Please – DO NOT CONFUSE ALOE GEL WITH ALOE JUICE! 90% of those I speak with for some reason don’t get that I am talking about ALOE GEL! I must be a crappy communicator I guess. Lol

Just Google the stuff and you’ll find it. I’ve been to the US Patent office and I have seen that there are at least two pharmaceutical companies trying to patent the active ingredients in aloe gel. They know full well the implications for this product. If they are ever successful, they will then pay off state legislators to force health food stores to stop carrying the real stuff!

I am at least four years clear now.

You know the feeling… It leads to all kinds of other issues. Fear of exercising. Fear of going to work. Fear of going out at all! It’s life ruining… so get rid of it asap.

And keep in touch. I want to know how you’re doing!

      Nick.

      • Ive had heart palputations for about a year and a half and dont know what to do im in eighth grade and cant do and exercise for a certain amount of time I get them every morning,at p.e and it sucks I need help fast please email to tell me if aloe gel will work for me and where to get it please email me at ccoltin@gmail.com or call at [number hidden for pirvacy] please!!!! Thanks

  11. Andy says:

Very good read, I have been suffering from palps for almost 2 years and they are off and on some much worse than others! I get bad ones after exercising for long periods of time, but I am in great shape! After a long day of physical work I will get them every minute or two for up to an hour! Also I get them in pressure situations, for example I coach football and call the plays so sometimes I get nervous and my heart will skip multiple times. Do you think everything you have suggested will help that too? Thank you, I’ll do anything to fix this!

    • Max says:

From what you describe, you are like I was. The key is to keep the alkalinity up and the inflammation down. I eat a lot of raw Kale now too and that helps.
But the best thing I did was drink high alkaline water. I put hunzana ph drops in all of my water and it helps to alkalize me in an environment where good alkaline food is hard to get. If you go out and get some Aloe Gel or Aloe Gel caps and take them three times a day, you should notice a big improvement too. But if you drink a lot of pop/soda, nothing you can do will help you. You’ll just get worse over the years.

      Nick.

  12. Pouthearen says:

I been having heart palpitations for about a little over a year now and I used to have about only total 3 a year. About two months ago i started having about once or twice a day. I found your website and tried to follow your advice and got some aloe gel and juice from Lily of the Desert. Fortunately they did make some difference for I have only taken it for 2 weeks so far. However I have a question. The aloe I take only contains the inner filet, not the whole leaf. According to Lily of the Desert’s website there is very little difference between their inner filet juice and gel. The only difference is that they a thickening substance to turn the juice into gel. I even called a representative from their company to confirm. However you say that there is a big difference. Please help! Thank you

    • Max says:

Yes… there is a huge difference. One of the best Phytochemical and Ethnobotanical databases on the planet is the “Duke Database”. The plant we are talking about is the Aloe barbadensis. If you do a search for “aloe vera” you will see the long list of indications. This is a fairly lengthy topic. We could branch off here with a major discussion. Forgive me in advance if this is to long. But you did ask! When you scroll through the list of chemicals in aloe, you will see why it is indicated so widely through history. Aloe Juice is a derivative mostly of the leaf and could cause diarrhea, vomiting and nausea if you take too much. Lilly of the Desert brand is the only brand I trust and I buy the gel by the gallon. It is the best.

You will notice that the aloe plant also has urea in the leaf. This, I believe is at the root of the research that Dr. Stanislav Burzynski is doing on his formula for antineoplastins. He has the highest cure rate for cancer any where on the planet. This is whey the FDA want to shut him down. If he’s successful, big pharma will lose billions.

They key to you stopping palpitations permanently is to get yourself more alkaline. Aloe is only a temporary measure to get you some relief. Ideally, you want to be in a position of not needing it!

If you look at the duke database, you will see that there is a difference between the leaf and in the inner plant. These companies don’t always do the research they should. I know one MLM company that used to sell a health drink with ctiric acid and sodium benzoate in it. That combination forms BENZINE – a highly carcinogenic combination. They put carageenan in it to thicken it. Oh well… can’t get perfect, but the stuff sure works. You can also get aloe gel caps. They are pretty good too. And they are cheap.

Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it. I don’t want to sound redundant but does it mean the inner filet gel is better than the inner filet juice? Just to confirm. Also does aloe vera gel work well with kidneys, because I have CKD. Thanks a lot for all your helpful info, it sure helped me a lot!

    • Max says:

Aloe does a lot of things. But for our purpose – heart palpitations – it is the alkaline stomach calming effect of the inner fillet gel that does the trick. The inner fillet juice is more of a purgative or laxative.

When you say CKD, you are referring to chronic kidney disease correct? What are the doctors prescribing? What do they say? Any anti-inflammatory is good for the body. It is what we fight the most in our lives and is what leads to the most disease.

  14. Pouthearen says:

When you say laxative, do you mean like the latex or aloin in the leaf because I heard that’s the bad part; or does it mean something else? I read some articles saying that part of the outer leaf contains latex or aloin that can be very bad for my kidney. According to them, the gel is supposed to be good for the kidney. Yes I meant chronic kidney disease and the doctors didn’t prescribe anything because I already have low-blood pressure and the medicine would make my blood pressure even lower.

    • Max says:

The JUICE has a laxative effect. I can’t speak to where they get the juice constituents. I just know that the GEL is the best when you need inflammation control. They are right about the Gel. It is likely due to the highly anti-inflammatory properties of the Gel. If you show your doctor the Lilly of the Desert label for the Gel, he’ll be able to advise you.

    Hi,

I am 26 and have gone into atrial fibbrilation twice about 2 months ago. SInce then I have been getting palps somewhat regularly and they scare me when these episodes occur. Also, two weeks after the a-fib episodes, I almost collapsed in my shower and was the cause of vestibular neuritis. I have been home sick with this virus for the past 6 weeks now. Do you think the virus in my body could have caused both the a-fib and inner ear vestibular neuritis? I also had extremely low testosterone- it was 257 and should be 600+ for my age.

I fear doing much exercise because I tried a week ago and i started getting palps with my fast heart rhythm. Is my heart just still more tender or sensitive now since I recenlty had the a-fib episode and i’ve been sitting home for 6 weeks not doing much cause of the vestibular dysfunction? What do you make of all of this? I’ve had all EKG, Electrocardiogram, xrays, brain mri, etc and all came OK.

Also, are you suggesting we try the “inner filter” aloe gel or the “whole leaf” aloe gel? Please clarify. I’m desperate for anything. I want my life back!

Great site. I hope you can guide me to a healthy heart.

    Rob

    • Max says:

      Hi Robert,
You have an interesting story. What you have is very common among those that I’ve talked with in regard to this palpitation issue. Bear in mind that I am not a doctor! I am just a guy who had the same issues as you. All I can do is relate to yo what I did, and what my brother and a few others I know did to permanently fix their issues.

You’ll note that on the WEB-MD site for “Vestibular Neuritis” they indicate inflammation as the root cause. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002049/
The viruses cause an inflammatory reaction that triggers histamine. Therefore, they talk about anti-histamine. My approach was that it is much more than simple inflammation. It is system wide inflammation that pressures the heart – or more likely the pericardium – to interfere with heart rhythm.

The aloe I use is Lilly of the Desert brand Aloe Gel, and it is the INNER FILLET. Here is a link to them: http://www.lilyofthedesert.com/our_products/item/inner-fillet-aloe-vera-gel/20

But there is no magic pill here. You will have to do much more than just take aloe gel. You need to address a few things. One being that you are chronically acidic – leading to all this inflammation. The medical system might love you since you are growing up to be the perfect little consumer of their drugs. But I am here to tell you that this is not a nice lifestyle if you opt to let big pharma be your saviour.

When I had the viral infection, I used Wild Oil of Oregano (P73) to kill the infection. That stuff works fantastic! I used the pill format and took two a day for 10 days. That is all I needed to get me off my puffers. I had been on puffers for 8 years prior to that.

After you kill the infection, you need to get alkalized. You need to put lemon in your water or get ph drops. You need to eat very dark green veggies. I steam KALE three times a week. Sometimes I just eat a raw KALE salad.

Other supplements I take to stay alkaline are:

      - Spirulina
      - Chlorella
      - L-Arginine
      - Trace Minerals (Concentrace)

I try to avoid all sodas/pop, and acid forming foods. If I am going to eat an acidic food, I take aloe gel first. Very likely you system is in dysbiosis. You are not producing the correct enzymes to carry out the normal bodily functions. If you opt to “take a pill” to increase testosterone artificially, then there is a consequence. We don’t know how that will manifest in your body. I always opt for the natural methods. Your body wants to make the right stuff, but it is being blocked. Find the block and remove it.

My guess is that if you got rid of your virus, then lowered your inflammation, and then got good exercise and stayed away from acidic foods, your testosterone would naturally climb. You can take saw palmetto as a herb to affect it if you want, but I think your body will do the work itself. It goes without saying that if you are wearing tight underwear like “briefs” your testicular temperature will affect testosterone production too. Also, you are low in cholesterol, that will affect it. Cholesterol is not a bad thing, like they want us to believe. It is good. But that is a whole other article!

Regarding the testosterone – It if is too low, it is so because something is inhibiting the formation of testosterone.

    Hi Max,

Great info! I get palps a few times a year and they last anywhere from several minutes to more than an hour. Your suggestions seem to decrease the frequency of palps, which I plan to follow. Have you found anything to stop an ongoing “attack” once it starts? Does the aloe gel (or anything else that you’ve found) have an immediate effect?

    Thanks!

    • Max says:

Once you follow the regimen, you will find that they just hardly ever come around again. However, we all like to endulge our favorite foods and some times cheat a bit. If you feel one coming on, you need be very aware of your chest. The microsecond that you feel one coming, take a very quick medium-deep breath as fast as you can. It is like getting the air into your lungs in record time. Do two or three of these, then on a fourth breath, hold it for a few seconds and let it out slowly. These are not full lungs full of air… just half full. If that doesn’t catch it in time, I’ve often taken TWO extra strength GAS-X gel caps. Lay down on a bed and in abut 10 minutes you’re good to go. That was my little trick… and it worked for a few others that I’ve talked with about this.

      Take care!

  17. Angela says:

    Hi

Thank you for such an informative site. I have been doing so much research on heart palpitations because I am at my wits end and doctors can’t seem to give me an answer.

My palps started 3 years ago during my 2nd pregnancy. I was taking a pregnancy vitamin supplement during my first trimester and my palps started with it. doctors did some tests and came back with nothing. they said it may have been a sensitivity to the ingredients in the vitamin and it would stop in a few weeks…… but it never did. I was getting palps every fews days but they got worse over time. now I skip a beat/ have an extra beat every minute along with several bouts of tachycardia during the day (more so at night). it has been this way for a while now and Ive had enough. Ive noticed they seem to be worse when lying down at night and wake me during my sleep if im lying down or after I eat. so Ive resorted to sleeping upright as I dont notice them as much and have tried to cut back to 1-2 meals a day so I dont have to feel the thumping of my heart and palps afterwards. I dont smoke or drink alcohol, I dont eat sugar, and dont drink soda/sugary drinks. I drink alot of water (tap filtered) and 3 coffee’s a day. Im only 26 yrs old and I want my life back. Ive avoided doing alot of things that make my palps worse. I have polycystic ovarian disease and have spoken to other women with the same condition to see if they suffer from palps too. alot do. could extra weight and insulin resistance be a factor in this? forunately for me I dont suffer from insulin problems with my PCOD but my hormones are severely out of order. not sure if hormones play a part in Palps though.

The information you have posted makes alot of sense though! I cant seem to find ALOE GEL (I live in australia) at health food stores, but I have read that lemon water, apple cider vinegar, baking soda and watermelon will alkalize the body. have you heard of this aswell?I will keep searching for the aloe gel but I would like to know of any other remedies that actually work. I tried backstrap molasses and potassium supplements but that did nothing.

also is organic fruit and vegetables helpful?

having palpitations every minute of the day is affecting my well being, I feel so run down. Ive had enough with putting up with the palps and want some sort of normal in my life. I know alot of people can go their whole life with suffering from it but I dont want to be one of them.

any feedback would be much appreciated

    kind regards
    Angie

  18. Andy says:

Hey I was wondering what the best way to consume the gel is? Do you mix it with anything and what helps it go down the smoothest? Thank you

    • Max says:

For some it is not that pleasant to drink. I used to just dump an ounce or so in my orange juice. With the pulp and strong flavor of orange, you just don’t notice the gel. You only need the stuff for the first few weeks until palps get under control. After that, a good alkaline diet will keep you there.

      :)

  19. Jesse James says:

my Fish Oil says “purified to remove Mercury”, is this still not safe??
    thank you.

    • Max says:

If they are filtering the oil, then this is good. It is likely safe. I’d be interested in the brand and where they are located. I like to call these people and talk with their scientists. I would like to know what process they use to remove the mercury. It seems to me that if they are doing this, then the pills must be really expensive!

We have other factors to consider too. Just when we thought we were getting rid of mercury, the idiots in suites decided to persuade the population to use COMPACT FLORESCENT LIGHTBULBS! CFL’s contain mercury. Now there is more mercury in landfills than ever before. That mercury leeches in the water tables and … well.. you can image. We have a mess.

We need to take away the right to manage from people with degrees. They are hopelessly out of touch and behind the times when it comes to understanding the current research.

    thanks.

    • Max says:

Yes.. I agree. They have been a good company for a long time. They do their best to deliver the highest quality product always.

  21. Jesse James says:

that should have said- high quality “STUFF”. not “tuff”. lol

  22. Jesse James says:

i suffered congestive heart failure in 2003,
ever since then my heart has gotten better, my last ejection fraction was 50/51%.

but Sunday the 18th i had something unusual happen,
ever since my CHF i’ve always had palpitations/PVC’s, they might come once a week, they might come 2-3-4 times a week, then i can go a full week and not have one, so i’ve just accepted it, its no big deal,
but Sunday the 18th as i was sitting at my computer i started having one continuous PVC, it scared me to death, i got up and walked around, it went away, i went to eat, about and hour later i took a nap, when i woke up from the nap i went back to my computer, again continuous PVC’s started happening, this time worse, i was getting short of breath, i thought i was going into CHF, i had my dad take me to emergency, the Doctor confirmed my PVC’s and kept me overnite to do more tests the next day, so i had a stress test where they inject a medicine to stress your heart, a CTscan, an echocardiogram, ALL NORMAL, no ischemia, no blockage, i was STUNNED, what the heck caused this? since 2003 i never experienced this.

then today i took my supplements.

these i’ve taken for over 10 years, so i dont think they are the culprit:
    NOW Acidophilus
    Nature Made 250mg Magnesium
    Twinlab Vitamin-C 1000mg
    Twinlab Daily One without iron
    ————————————————-
    these are suspect
    Jarrow Curcumin 95%
    Healthy Origins Astaxanthin

^^^^ after i took all these within an hour/hour and a half MY PVC’s STARTED AGAIN, what the heck???

i’ve come to the conclusion it must be the Curcumin or the Astaxanthin
because the other things i’ve taken for over 10 years with no problems,

so tomorrow i’m gonna skip the Curcumin and Astaxanthin to narrow things down, if the PVC’s continue then it could be the Magnesium?
BUT, Magnesium is supposed to help the heart, and i take a low dose, just 250mg, and in my multivitamin there is only 7.2mg of Magnesium, so i know i’m not taking too much,

i was reading up on contraindications about Astaxanthin and i think it might be the culprit, the literature said that if you’re taking a supplent with VitaminA/Lutein/then Astaxanthin will INCREASE those compounds in your body, and it can lower your blood pressure, well i already take a beta-blocker and an anti-hypertensive.

i dont know, but its weird how the PVC’s started coming back after i took that stuff, ya know?
so it has to be something i’m taking,
    any thoughts?

    • Max says:

Wow… This really sucks I know. I always felt as though I was dying. Eventually I got mad at it and that’s when I started to make some progress. The issue is inflammation. But astaxanthin and curcumin are powerful antioxidants. How old are you?

One thing you haven’t mentioned is water. Humans are supposed to be 70% water. Most people with these symptoms test out at about 49% water. Dehydrated people nearly always report that “I’m not a big water drinker…” or something similar. Water is critical. When your hyrdration level is 49% then all other chemicals in your body are more concentrated. This is why doctors are always saying things like … your cholesterol is too high.. or your xyz hormone is to high… etc. In fact, they are not high, it’s just that your water is too low. You should be drinking 2 litres of water per day that is at least pH 7.5.

You need to get your body in shape to have lower blood pressure without pharmaceutical drugs! 50% of people over age 60 are on a minimum of 8 major medications!

Do you consume refined sugar? Candy? Muffins or donuts? Milk? All of that is very bad. The sugar feeds the bacterial that create inflammation. In women that often translates to yeast infections.

Do you consume dark greens? Kale, Broccoli? Kale if fantastic! Steamed… with butter! Yum.

With this health issue, you can’t be partly on the right track. You are either on it or not on it. IF you are not on it, you suffer palps or pvc etc.

Daily – I take: Spirulina, Chlorella, celery seed extract, Vitamin D3, CoQ10, Lutein, L-Arginine, liquid kelp (iodine) and Nature’s Way “Alive” whole food vitamin. But I’m 56… I need help! Lol…

That said, I have zero health issues and I’m as strong as a bull. My resting pulse is 46. My blood pressure is 118 / 66 (used to be 145 / 95). I am carrying a few more pounds than I need, but I’m working on that!

  23. Jesse James says:

    Max i’m not a big candy/sugar/muffins/donuts/milk user.

i RARELY eat stuff like that, MAYBE once a month, if that.

but i drink Almond Milk, instead of cows milk, and i use the sugar free Almond Milk.

i also take 200mg of Jarrow CoQ10 a day. for over 10 years now.(forgot that one).

as far as water, i drink about 4-5 20oz glasses per day.

i walk on my treadmill 5 times a week for 30 minutes at a time.

i also forgot to mention that i found out Curcumin/Turmeric is very high in Potassium, and the anti-hypertensive i’m on is a potassium sparing medication, and i know excess levels of potassium can set your heart out of whack and cause palpitations and flutterings.

i guess i’m gonna have to experiment and see if by not taking these certain supplements if they go away, if not then i’ll have to reasess and go to a process of elimination.

it sucks because i’ve been doing GREAT for so long now, and just out of the blue this crap happens to me, its frustrating and breaks your positive attitude, but this time i wont let it, gotta stay positive and just focus on finding out a solution.

i’m also gonna try the Aloe you suggested, see if that helps.

    • Max says:

You are very diligent! Most people aren’t as focused on this as you. Kudos! Potassium does cause lots of issues for many people. My own grandmother has to nearly avoid potassium completely. She couldn’t even eat bananas.

I would definitely drop back on potassium.

If Aloe Gel works on you, then you know for sure that it is related to your digestive tract. You are certainly getting enough water. Have you tested the pH of the water? If it is tap water, it could be acidic? ie Lower than pH 7. If that were the case, then all you are doing is drinking a few liters of acid per day. This wouldn’t be good.

Has your doctor has checked for a prolapsed mitral valve? Usually they rule that one out first.

  24. Jamie says:

I had atrial fib at age 37. Started with horrible stomach cramps and several trips to the bathroom. Thinking I just had an upset stomach. Then when I blacked out I had my children call EMS. By the time I was at hospital my heart rate had reached 220 bpm and nothing was bringing it down. No meds and no restrictions. Eighteen months later it happened again. This time woke me from my sleep with a bad stomach ache and soon realized I was in A-Fib. This time it was about 3 hours after I had a couple of alcoholic drinks. After in ER for 5 hours I was released to see my doctor and he cardio-verted me. Now I was told to stay away from caffenine and alcohol. Also taking very low dose, 10mg of a Beta blocker. Now get palpatations. I have always drank a lot of water and usually 1 drink a day with aspartame. I am now 40 yrs old and have not had caffenine or alcohol for 2 years. (Miss the adult beverage, not the caffenine). Each time I had atrial-fib I was low on potassium. So now I eat more banannas and when I feel palpatations I take a potassium supplement. I was told the low potassium could cause the a-fib. Now I am questioning if I should take the potassium. Don’t know if my palpatations are severe enough to warrant the Aloe Gel. But will do the lemon in my water. Any thoughts for me?

    • Max says:

Wow.. Jamie. Your situation is so much like many of us. Mine was almost exactly like that. 220 beats per minute is NOT FUN! They didn’t invert me, but they came close. Seeing those paddles was enough for me. No thanks! One thing is for sure. You know your heart is strong! At 220 bpm for any length of time, it takes a lot of strength. This is a good thing. What you are experiencing is the slow and chronic move toward acidosis. You absolutely must eat more alkaline foods if you want to be ok.

Aloe gel is just a quick fix. Doing that offers rapid relief and lets you get some sleep. I regularly email my friends around the world who have written to discuss this topic and we compare notes. Recently – like in the last two weeks – I discovered another natural supplement that really works well! It is Celery Seed Extract. I take the pill form. The brand I’m testing is “Natural Factors” Celery Seed Extract 85% 3nB. Historically, celery seed extract is a very effective blood pressure regulator. A hypertensive friend of mine locally tested this stuff and in 8 days he went from a bp of 145/100 down to 120/66. I am finding that I feel much more relaxed and I sleep very well with this stuff. One of my favorite foods for keeping the inflammation down though is Kale. Seriously… find some and try it. Steam it for 15 minutes then put butter and sea salt on it. Yummy.

You will beat this if you want to. It just a matter of taking the steps.
      :)

We’re all part of the same club. The medical profession has abrogated their responsibilities, so we are left to find our own way. Fortunately there are enough of us to compare notes. At the end of the day, we all win. Write any time. I handle all enquiries personally.

          • Amos says:

Wow Max you have some really great advice. I am suffering from palpitations right now. I plan to try the Aloe Gel. I had some palpitations last night but the Krill Oil with astaxanthin from Renew Life helped out tremendously. I can at least get some sleep. My heart went from racing and pounding to just lightly pounding and almost normal. I drink a lot of lemon water and try to put ph drops in my water since getting a water ionizer is a little expensive at the moment. I tried apple cider vinegar because many people said that worked for them but it made my situation worst and gave me the worst palpitations. I took Magnesium as well so I don’t know which one it was. But the omega 3 in the krill oil and alkaline water seems to help me. The doctor told me everything was fine and that I have a strong heart. She also said stay away from caffeine but I need more answers.

          • Max says:

            Amos,
You are well on the way to curing this. Pretty much any attempt to alkalize will help. I have used apple cider vinegar too. It has tons of other benefits too. I mix it with honey and water. I shouldn’t say this, because all of the ionizer dealers will be mad at me, but I have a water ionizer that I used for nearly two years now. I have experimented with the ionizer and with pH drops. Frankly, the drops are better for a couple of reasons. One is that people are mobile and machines are not! I can take my drops with the to Hawaii or on business trips. Can’t do that with the machine! And secondly, I can take the drop with me to work and fix any water that I run into. And… of course, they are dirt cheap. A $19 bottle lasts me nearly three months! You should read the articles on magnesium though. Taking the stuff orally is not as good as using magnesium oil. One of my articles has a link to the stuff I buy on Amazon. That stuff really smooths out the heart beats.

            Nick.

    Max,
My father dropped dead of a heart attack at 41. Granted, he was a smoker, stressed, overweight. But 41 is still a head shaker. I am now 37, in good shape, but very stressed (law school). The heart flip flops are getting worse. The last major episode was while lifting weights–it took the wind out of me, sent me to a knee, then to the ER. Now, my breathing seems labored; fatigue; muscle twitches; tremor. The vagus nerve info is very enlightening, and since the all neuro and cardio tests–MRI, EMG, EKG, stress test–were negative, I’m starting to wonder if that’s what’s going on.

I’m sure we all have our triggers: two of mine are putting my arms over my head (like that day at the gym) and lying on my right side. Sometimes, of course, there is no obvious trigger and I am just sitting in class when it happens. But I have always suspected something neurological or perhaps adrenaline related.

I am going to try the aloe gel and kale and cut down on sugar. My question is: what is the best and cheapest way to alkalize my water? If you can think of any other pertinent feedback, based on my symptoms, that would be most appreciated.
I forwarded your site to a bunch of people I know who suffer the palps, too.

    Thanks!

    Ray

I’m 34, and have been having consistently rapid pulse for about four weeks now. It is much worse at night, and it seems that food, alcohol, caffeine, and not enough water has been triggering it. After reading everything on the web pertaining to this, i finally stumbled across your website.

They are so scary, but I am reluctant to want to completely cut out my occasional glass of wine or sip of tequila. I miss my coffee so much! I have read on multiple websites that my body’s PH balance could have a lot to do with this, so seeing your site if just another confirmation.

I guess my question is this: do you think that I will ever be able to go back to having the little pleasures of an occasional drink, or my morning coffee? Do you avoid these thing still, after the aloe and supplements?

  27. AnnMarie says:

    Hello,
This gives me hope and thank you. I’ve always been a healthy eater and an on and off gym person. I’ve had phases where I was more active than others. I’m 45. I was a smoker but quit for 5 years. My mother passed away and I went through some other disturbing emotional things in my life and started to smoke again. That lasted for about a year and I about six months ago stopped and tried the e-cig. I figured it was better than smoking. So I jump started my exercise regamin and started eating more healthier (as I am about 20 lbs overweight) and have 212 cholesterol and have also had diverticulitis when my son was about four months old and gave birth to him at 41 years of age.

Anyway back to exercise e-cig and eating healthy. I was happy to do this. And also started taking my vitamins more consistently. I suffer with severe PMS so I started to consistently take GNC woman’s mega, Co-enzyme 10 ( which I’ve always taken), don quai, ashwaganda, evening primrose oil cal/mag, 2000 mg of D as I was deficient in it according to my primary care physician. Two weeks later. My heart started skipping beats. I’ve had them in the past but never like this. It never scared me before because it was once in a blue moon. I noticed they were getting consistent. And I was thinking maybe because I started working out and pushing my body too much after being sedentary for a while, or the e-cig or I have a underlying disease I don’t know about.

I was and still am going out of my mind. So went to the doctor and wore the holtier monitor and lthey noticed too many skipped beats but wasn’t worried and said as long as you don’t have 3 or 4 in a row, it’s ok. I think the holtier results were 20% skipped beats. So I went back for the treadmill stress test and failed at the end as I got 4 skipped beats in a row… Next step nuclear stress test. Well I passed that one but during the test the doc was noticing all the skipped beats happening. It turns out the cardiologist had her husband working in the same office and she asked me to see him . He specializes in the mechanics of the heart. Oh during this time I was prescribed atenol which makes me tired but it’s a half of the lowest dose.

Back to the new doc. He gave me two options. Live with it while experimenting with what drugs work or catheter ablation. I chose the ablation. But 5 days before the procedure I noticed they stopped and cancelled. Well they are back. Seems like all day every day and I’m so panic stricken and take aprazolym for that. I want to try the aloe vera gel. I wanted to do this ASAP and could only get my hands on the vitamin shop brand. It seems like the same. Many years ago I used to drink the lilly of the valley juice for my digestive health. They did not have the Lilly gel so now. I want to use this other brand until I get the one you recommend. My question is can I mix my ounce with a liquid of some sort. It seems too thick to drink. I will if I have to. Please advise.

Thanks for listening and I think you are amazing. Once I get started I want to take he next steps if it works for me, like you.

    Regards,
    AnnMarie

      Hi AnnMarie,
I got your message through my website. You give an excellent detailed view of your situation. You know, I get a dozen emails a week from people in the same condition as you. I really feel the pain and anxiety your suffer. I’ve been there. My brother is the same. I’ve written to probably 50 people over the past year. The good news is that this issue isn’t going to hurt you. It just going to scare the heck out of you. But once you understand it, you will be able to take steps to keep it away, and to get “get mad” at it rather than fear it.

Are you in continental United States? I have had some people write from England, Australia, Egypt and France and they couldn’t get the gel. I ended up getting some for them and sending it, though it costs a lot to send. The stuff is only $9 a bottle, but can cost $50 to mail off shore.

If you are in the USA, I’ll call Lilly of the Desert and find out where it is available that is closest to you. It’s made in Texas.

I have a friend close by to where I live (Vancouver, BC) that had ablation therapy. It is not very effective and the simple reason is that the arrhythmia is not caused by hyper excited purkinje fibers in the heart. The issue is caused by excessive inflammation around the pericardium which triggers palps when the stomach bloats from gas, or when the vagus nerve is squeezed. Doctors just don’t understand this, or simply ignore it so that they can sell drugs.

One thing for sure… you will know in one day or less. You can mix the aloe gel with orange juice or any juice of your choice. Best to stay away from sugary juices. I’ll explain that in a ebook that I’m working on. I’ll send you the condensed report on that in the next week or two (providing I finish it in that time). I’ve been so busy with this stuff.. it’s just unreal.

I’m 57 and suffered with it for 7 years before I fixed it.

Stay in touch and let me know how it goes….

PS. I’ll copy this to the blog as well.

      Nick.

  28. AnnMarie says:

    Hi Max,
Thanks for getting back to me. The brand is actually the GNC brand and I”ll use it for now until I go to a health food store thats close by. I live in New York, so I shouldn’t have an issue finding “Lilly” :-) . My body, while still getting palls, felt so clean this morning. I also noticed some cramping in lower abdomen last night after drinking it for the first time, which didn’t bother me, as I knew it was doing its job on my constipation too! Thank and I’ll keep you posted! I plan on talking to my new cardiologist (someone I’m seeing at Columbian Presbyterin for a second opinion for the palps), about the vegus nerve. I may want to see someone who specializes with that specifically.

Thanks again for restoring some hope in me !

All the best to health and happiness,
    AnnMarie

Bear in mind that *most* doctors are not trained to cure. They are trained to treat. Big pharma pays for the Universities they attend and the labs and medical equipment they use for training. They really owe their livelihoods to Big Pharma. You won’t find many, if any at all, that will even give you the time of day if you want to talk about aloe gel and internal inflammation. Their eyes will spin when you start talking about inflamed pericardium and vagus nerve. Most of them haven’t actually done the science themselves. They are significantly disadvantaged.

      :)

I, like many on here, have been suffering from palpitations, I’ve had them for about five years now. They started off subtle and now they are very frequent, last for hours and more intense. I will do anything to get rid of these. It’s disturbing my life and my degree and worrying my friends every time it happens, which is about 4 to 5 times a day. I at first thought it could be a heart attack but was told otherwise my my doctor as my heart is perfectly fine. I am going to try this aloe gel in a month or so when I get paid but in the mean time would there be any cheap alternative or something you had found helpful before finding aloe gel, I’m just very desperate to start reducing them and eventually ridding myself of them. Your very right in saying it does fell like your impending doom.

Thanks for this website it has made me realize i’m not actually dying and i’m not the only one who suffers from this condition. Thank you :)

I really know what you are going through Rachel. I got your email about joining the group and I have sent you my ebook about how I cured palpitations. I am not allowed to say it will work for you – as the FDA and big pharma don’t like losing business! Talk over my regiment with your doctor and find out if these simple techniques are good for you. What I hear from those that have tried it, is nearly 100% success.

      Stay in touch!

Hi I’m 28 and have just recently started having heart palpitations daily. At first I thought it was caffeine induced, but I 2 cups is hardly excessive. I also eliminated caffeine altogether, yet still having them. I haven’t been to the Dr. yet. Anyone here ever hear of links between breast augmentation and heart palpitations? Maybe I’m be paranoid, but a sudden change like this with no known cause can be unsettling , not to mention the uncomfortable constant fluttering.

  31. michael says:

    Hi. Max.
Have suffered with dropped heart beats for over 30 years. Recently passed out and ended up in hospital, however docs think it to be re-occurrence of epilepsy, which I have not had for 20-25 years. I’m not so sure as the dropped beats do seem to feel different recently. I do not drink much water and diet would be a little on the fat and sugary side. The tricky thing about this rhythm issue is determining which type is present. All test I had done were all clear. I will be more careful with my diet and water intake; but I’m not sure of what to do with the stress in my life, which I’m sure is a factor.
This site and your information is top class and I’m sure is a comfort to many.
    Kind regards.
    Michael.

    • Max says:

      Hi Michael,
I sure know what you are going through. I have already emailed you a copy of my regimen. Inflammation is the big trigger. You need to read the pdf that I sent to you. It will explain everything. Also, you need to really cut out carbonated drinks like pop etc.
Drink 2 quarts of water per day!

      Max.

      • michael says:

        Hi. Max,
Thanks for your reply and I’m off to open up that pdf just now. I don’t think that I am too heavy on the carbonated drinks but I could improve my water intake. Because of how little water I currently drink it should be easy to see what difference the uptake will have. Thanks again.
        Kind regards.
        Michael.

Some people just seem less able to handle acidity. This is why doctors have so much trouble with this one. I’ve talked with hundreds of people all over the world and they all have similar stories. In the end, their doctors just give them medication to suppress the symptoms. I can’t really blame the doctors. There are not enough patients with this issue to make a significant clinical study of it. At the same time, there is no way I’m going to put up with the side effects if I can beat it on my own!

If you are just borderline, then you might be able to beat it with just aloe gel alone. I know many people that have.

  32. Chris says:

Max, great site. I’m 53 and for sure am trying the aloe gel tomorrow. I’ve had skipped beats for 20 years now, and the doctors have no clue. I’ve had all the usual tests and they say my heart is strong. The doctors say this won’t kill me so when I get the skipped beats I just push myself harder and they go away for awhile until I rest and than boom, they are right back again. That seems so odd to me. It’s an everyday thing that I’ve learned to deal with. I just hate the sickening feeling I feel in my stomach. That’s how I know my heart is skipping. Does anyone else get these feelings in their gut? I’m gonna beat this and anything you could email me to put me on the right track would be greatly appreciated.

    • Max says:

      Hi Chris,
I definitely know how you’re feeling.. .and I’ll bet all the others here do too! For some of us it has been even worse. It is like dying! The biggie is that it creates anxiety and eventually makes you afraid to do stuff. The connection is inflammation which is brought on by acid. Things like bottled water, pop, meat… all very acidic. I’m not saying you have to give them up, you just have to get your system balanced and then know how to keep it that way to stop these palpitations. Check your email for a pdf file that I’m sending to you. It has my whole regimen in it. Tells you how I fixed mine and how to stay on top of it. I name all of the risk factors that I found. I’ve helped an NHL hockey player with this as well as a UFC ultimate fighter who thought he was going to have to give up his career. I get emails every day from people all over the world who are in exactly the same situate as you seem to be.

      Max.

I’ve emailed you my report on it.

  35. Amy says:

    Hi Nick,
It’s Amy from Toronto. We emailed back in Nov/Dec and then I changed my email address and lost yours! Luckily I found this site again. Well, I haven’t had much success in healing my palps but its my fault I guess for not sticking to a strict diet. I do take the Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gel but I find i may need 3-4 oz on a really bad day. My palps last all day long accompanied by horrible belching that rises after i eat or not eat anything. I started back on eating organic, raw vegan foods and some organic lean animal protein but really didnt notice a huge difference. I would belch after even the most alkaline meal. Sometimes I would even feel better if i did the opposite and drank and beer and had some pizza, I just started reading Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Breaking the Habit of being yourself” about healing your body by changing our minds? I really love the idea but I haven’t been able to think my way out of these heart palps. I have been dealing with constant belching and heart palps for a year now and Iam back full force to fix this problem. I tested negative for H pylori. I had an ekg done at the ER. Doc said Blood and heart looked fine. I am still not feeling convinced that I am fine but i am 36, and have always eaten well or so I thought. But I believe this may have been brought more on by stress. However, what’s frustrating, I find I cannot cheat even a little, a handful of my son’s organic animal crackers or a piece of 9 grain toast will cause huge belching. I find raw organic vegetable juice can cause the belching if it’s slightly too sweet with carrots or apples.! ( i chew my juice too) Pineapple juice which is very alkaline mixed with parsley is too sweet and it must feed the bacteria in my body cause I am belching and the heart starts palping! I am pissed off cause I eat better than most people and I cant seem to find any food that is tolerable. I;ll drink pure kale juice and I am burping!! Granted I do have more relief from eating clean and raw but not completely so I give up and cheat.. then I drink mostly raw vegetable and fruit juices for a few days and then get jealous of my friends who eat a doughnut with no ill side effects. Do I have to only eat vegetables? This makes me even more annoyed. I really love eating healthy but i want to be balanced. So my natropathic doctor has me on st johns wart for depression. I really only feel good when I am sleeping cause I find my waking hours are plagued with thoughts of “am I gonna die today?’ These constant thoughts and palps are affecting the quality of my life. I use to be such an athlete, now I only swim a half hour a couple days a week. ( I find when I am in the water I cant feel my heart palps as much). I am taking bio K probitoics, enzymes and Betaine Hydorchloride (cause I believe I have practically zero stomach acid). I put lemon in my water, I drink lots through my brita filter (is that good enough?). I take apple cider vinegar with honey. I am drinking the Roobios tea. I take ph tablets to balance my ph. I even put Turmeric in my quinoa as you suggested. I guess i just need some more encouragement. I love this site and all these posts and I thank you for the bottom of my heart for all your research and hard work and patience. As much as this sucks I am glad I am not alone. Thank you to all who post too.

      Hi Amy,
Of course I remember you well! I often wondered how you made out with this. I have emailed you privately as well as a screened post to the blog here.

From the sound of it, you may have gone overboard. You might actually be in the range of suffering alkalosis. You can’t overdo any single element. My guess is that you have trouble with one or more digestive enzymes. That was probably killed by extreme diet one way or the other. And, you may be overdoing the supplementation. The first thing I would do is just take a multi vitamin. You have to let your body balance out. The only supplement I would take is “BioCore Optimum Complete Ultimate Full Spectrum Digestive Enzymes”. I get mine at Swanson’s. Best price and fast delivery.

      http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU445/ItemDetail

What is happening in your body is that you are failing to ignite (burn) one or more of the peptide fuels. It’s like having water in the gasoline. The engine runs really rough! According to BioCore: “BioCore Optimum Complete contains enzymes to address every aspect of the enzymatic digestive process, including lactase to help digest lactose from dairy products; alpha-galactosidase assists with the breakdown of certain sugars from grains and vegetables; and acid maltase to help your body digest maltose, a common intermediate sugar in the digestive process. Each enzyme in BioCore Optimum Complex helps support the digestive process and promotes regularity.”

They don’t mention the fact that it also helps digest fructose by products. And fructose is big pharma’s little drug dealer. It’s in everything. And it messes you up badly.

The fact that a beer and pizza made you feel better is proof for me that this is the issue. Nothing wrong with beer and pizza, as long as you are going to run or do something with the fuel. Otherwise, you’ll just wear it.

      Nick.

  36. Amy says:

    HI again Nick,
I’ve noticed you posted all the supplements you take. Perhaps you could explain what some of them are for or how they work in the body? (except for the Heepseed oil,EFA blend oil and Aloe Vera Gel, I understand those?) What does Co Q10 do? Lutein? What about the Liquid Kelp, and L Argine (sorry I am probably spelling them wrong) Nutrex Hawaii Bioastin Natura…, Linoleic Acid? Zeo Force ? What’s the difference between Spirulina and Chlorella? I take E-3 Live (blue green algae, is that good enough?)
    Thank you
    AMY

    • Max says:

Lol… CoQ10 is a more necessary nutrient as you get older. You, of course, are years away from needing it! Essentially, our energy come from chemical transactions that happen in our cell’s mitochondria. That involves a chemical called adenosinetriphosphate or (ATP). At some point in our lives, we manage to mess up the equilibrium enough to cause one or more chemical reactions to NOT HAPPEN – which leads to dysbiosis. From there, things just fall apart year by year. Some people call it aging. I call it unnecessary. But with COQ10 we have a bio-availability issue. Many people swear that buying it in combination with ubiquinol makes it work better. I am biased, and just use my pH drops because the 63 dynes surface tension of this water makes all nutrients more available.

We almost need a book to discuss all this, but I’ll tackle one more. Lutein. Your eyeball is like a soft sponge when you are young. the muscles around the eye can pull the lens to focus the eye fairly easily. But as we age, and fail to follow sound nutritional principles, we begin to lose hyluronic acid from the eye. This makes the eye ball much harder. If it was a sponge at 5 years old, it’s now a rubber ball at 40 years old. The muscles would have to be enormously more powerful just to focus the eye. Most people are just not going to take their eyes to the gym every day. The result is …. READING glasses by the time you’re 40. Lutein will help you retain the hyluronic acid and help keep your eye supple.

Again, if you drink lots of water and use ph drops as I do, you will uptake all nutrients better. An example of this would be my wife. She is ten years older than me. We met when she was 48. She had glasses. She is now 67 and doesn’t wear glasses. She supplements with Lutein and Hyluronic acid – and she puts ph Drops in everything she drinks. She even gives it to the dogs! Our big Kuvacz lived to 15 – outliving all of his litter mates by 6 years.

      Nick

    • Max says:

      Hi Amy,
I couldn’t resist another comment Lol… I get about 200 readers per day here now and it is hard to keep up. L-Argenine along with L-Ornithine together are oustanding healers. If you get a cut or wound, just take the combination of these two from Swansons and watch how fast you heal. I mean, seriously, it is probably three times the healing speed.

Liquid kelp it take to keep the proper levels of minerals and iodine in me. The Fukushima nuclear meltdown is dumping radioactive particles on us that gets into the food chain. Your thyroid will take a kicking if you are near bromine, chlorine or fluorine. And most of those are in your city tap water. They occupy the thyroid binding sites for iodine – leaving you deficient in iodine and susceptible to radioactivity. I use chlorella and spirulina for cleaning out any trace radioactivity. They used chlorella commercially at Chernobyl. ZeoForce is simply a great detox. I am beginning to like Great Plains Bentonite Colloid solution better though. It detoxes the heavy metals really well. E-3 Blud Green Algae is GREAT!

I’ve had palpitations my whole life. I’ve seen 4 cardiologist who all say I’m healthy. I’ve had many tests and monitors showing a healthy heart. The palpitations get very frequent and bad-even painful and then they get better and few only to get worse again. Recently they have gotten worse and painful again. Chiropractic care helped for awhile, but I hadn’t gone in awhile now they are bad and even though I went back they are worse this week. I eat fairly healthy, only a little sugar, lots of fresh friuts and veggies and homegrowen meat. No soda. I started taking aloe gel last week but didn’t notice a big differance and the last two days have been worse. When I calm down they do go away once they start but they are terrifing. I’m only 33 and a mom of 6 little ones. I just want to do stuff without fear.

    • Max says:

      Hi Lisa,
I feel your pain on this one. Your story is like so many of us. I will help you through this. Step by step you can regain your freedom. I’ve sent you my regimen to your personal email address. Read it and we can start from there. One other suggestion, for those that are in “high stress” situations, I have found that a herb called “Relora” works wonders. I discovered it by accident when I was talking with some law enforcement people. They have high stress jobs. The fellow told me about Relora – which is the bark from two different species of tree. It regulates the stress hormones and naturally boosts DHEA. In researching it, I also found that Dr. Jim Levallee was using it in his clinic for metabolic disorders. By itself, it won’t stop palpitations, but along with other things… it will contribute to a very relaxed feeling of well-being.

  39. Jen says:

Hi Max. I stumbled upon your website yesterday as I was desperately trying to find some answers and solutions to my heart palpitations. I, like Lisa above, struggle with palpitations and it has greatly limited my life.

I cannot sleep on my left side anymore because my heart palpitates. Going to bed isnt even an enjoyable thing anymore because I can only sleep in one position. And I fear waking up in the early morning hours with horrible palpitations, like I often do. My last episode had me shaking in fear for hours.

3 years ago my doctor stumbled upon a heart murmur. I was also having palpitations then too. I went threw the whole slew of tests. Stress test. Nuclear test. Even went and had the cardiac cathaterization done upon my doctors request. At the time I was 36 and the cath came back showing a very strong, normal, healthy heart. In the past year though, my palpitations have got so much worse to the point I fear every day may be my last. I have a hard time beleiving that my heart went from a normal, strong healthy heart to a bad heart in a matter of 3 years. This also based on an adult who exercises regularly, eats rather well, doesnt drink soda, etc.

Now, IM scared to exercise (which is something I greatly enjoy), I fear being alone, especially with my small children for fear I will drop dead in front of them. I fear going places (even though I suck it up and go anyway) for fear I will have an episode. I always know where the nearest hospital is “just in case”. Its taken over my life and I really just want to get back to living again. Enjoying the things I love like being with my husband and children. Exercising. Traveling. Enjoying good food (unhealthy food, but nice meals out, etc). Just living life and enjoying what God has given me. But I cant. This has taken over my life and its making me miserable.

I stumbled upon your website yesterday and truly felt it was an “ah ha God moment”. :) I started with some alkaline drops in my water yesterday and then got the exact Aloe Gel you recommended. I drank an ounce in unsweetened apple juice last night (because frankly, the stuff just by itself is terrible!!! HAHA!). I did have some mild palpitations this AM. I just finished another glass of juice with aloe in it. I am anxious to see how the day goes.

Im just desperately looking for answers here. I have seen doctor after doctor. Had test after test. Numerous EKGs. They even diagnosed me with Acid Reflux and put me on some medication for that. In reading up on it, I see its a pretty potent drug and I am slowing weening myself off it. I am ready to say idios to all man made medications and heal myself with food and suppliments.

Any direction, advice, thoughts you can pass my way is so greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for your research and helping so many folks.

    Desperate,
    Jen

    • Max says:

      Hi Jen,
If you’ve read the other comments, you probably see that you are very much like the rest of us. You identified lying on your left side at night. That is exactly how mine started! It is a real pain because it’s hard to just lay on your back! I found that after about three hours, I could change to my left side and 90% of the time I would be ok.

I have already emailed my regimen to you. Read it a few times. The good news is that you can fix this, but you have to be diligent. This is not like a diet. There is zero tolerance for cheating. Once you have got your palpitations to stay away for a few months on end, then you can cheat a bit, but with certain precautions to mitigate your digressions.

The “frightened” stage is the worst. It took me three years to get past that. I finally got to the “pissed off” stage and that is when I started making headway. They aren’t going to kill you, but they sure feel like they are!

The heart murmur is not related to what you have. I wouldn’t worry about that. It could very easily have been an anomaly.

You must understand a couple of things. The medical system is strange. We all think it is there to help us get better from illnesses. The medical system thinks we are here to make them wealthy. Just like Walmart had “greeters” the medical system has doctors that patch you together after car accidents and such. I call them the “mechanics” of the system. That is all customer service. And like an automobile dealership that makes all of its money from the “parts department”, the medical profession makes most of its money from dealing in drugs. Pharmaceutical companies spend more than $60 billion dollars a year paying psychologists and scientists to find new diseases to name, for creating new demand for their drugs, and for controlling every aspect of what a doctor does from the time he/she leaves college. Anyone reading this knows this to be true. Did any of your doctors offer to help you find a cure for your palpitations? Or did they suggest you try Atenolol… or propaphenon, or some other beta blocker? Huh? The money is not in the healthy and well.

The money is in the sick. The world-wide plan is for humans to begin getting sick as soon as possible. By the time you are in your 60s, you should be on no less than 8 medications. I could tell you about the great cholesterol hoax, but that is almost a whole other website in itself. Bottom line is that cholesterol is NOT the killer it is said to be. The killer is homocysteine. Your body needs cholesterol and will make it for you if yours is too low. You are sold on the idea that cholesterol should be low because when you spend $60 a month to lower it, you are virtually guaranteed that you will get osteoporosis in old age. And when that happens, they can then sell you Fosamax and other deadly drugs. The reason they keep this quiet is for the money. They could achieve lower death rates just by giving you $6 worth of folic acid per month.

Jennifer, you will beat this and you will get your old life back. I am certain of this. Read the 12 page report I sent to you. You may not be able to do all of the things in it, but do the main things. If you have amalgam filings, then you need to floss lots and you need to take spirulina and chlorella.

NEW RESEARCH: I am working on some new research right now and don’t have all of the details, but its worth mentioning here. The herb “Cilantro” is proving to be ideal for detoxing mercury. If you have almalgam fillings, then you need to eat cilantro every day! The other new item is MSG. MSG is proving to be exceedingly active in creating systemic inflammation. I’ll be sending out some video information on this to the group at some point in the near future.

Stay in touch with me by email, and we’ll work through all this mess!

In the mean time, here is some interesting food for though…

Hi max, I’ve had palpitations since around the age of 12, I’m 30 now and they’ve got worse in the last few years. My heart doesn’t race it flutters and skips beats, when it skips a beat it comes back with a real thud! I don’t need to be stressed when they happen, most of the time they happen when I’m relaxing and it’s very scary! On a good day I have 2-3, on a very bad day it’s every couple of minutes all day. I’ve had ECG & 3d heart scan, but unfortunately I’ve not had a palp at the time for them to find out the root cause. I don’t have much caffeine, probably 2-3 cups of tea/coffee a day, I’ve also stopped smoking and I still get them! I have a cousin with cardiominopathy and the doctors said there are no sighns of it on the 3d heart scan. I’m thinking I might have heart erythema, but they are difficult to diagnose as you have to be having a palp for them to detect it. Can you give me some advise on what to do? It’s ruining my life, I feel very depressed and scared to do anything. I would love to go to the gym but I did that before and my palp got worse after I finished my workout. Any advise would be greatly appreciated

      Hey Coz,
I sure know what you are saying here. One of the guys that wrote to me a few years back was an “UFC” fighter. He thought that hew as going to have to leave the business. I don’t want to get too repetitive here so I’ll recommend you read the other responses. I just wrote a long one to Jennifer who is in the same boat.

I do have about 10 people in England that write to me about this. I don’t think you can get aloe gel there. It is only the sunscreen kind that you put on your body.. and that is no good because it’s loaded with chemicals and perfumes. You need the drinkable kind like Lily of the dessert. You can get Aloe Gel caps though. You might substitute them for what I recommend in the liquid stuff. Two caps twice as day or even three if you are really bad.

Side Note: I love my coffee and drink about 6 cups a day including Starbucks coffee. I have no palpitaitons any more. Well… maybe once in a blue moon if I am really bad! But I fix that fast. Get hold of GAS-X Extra Strength caps. Gel Caps. In an emergency, they will give you enough alkalinity to stop the palps. They are not a long term solution though. I forgot to mention that to Jennifer. Jen – take a GAS-X at night 20 minutes before you go to bed. That should let you sleep like a baby.

      • Corin says:

Hi max, thank you for your quick response:) just to let you know I’ve found lily of the desert aloe gel drink on a uk site, they do sell it in a health store by me but it’s the juice drink not the gel, So I would prefer to to wait and order the one that you recommended to me online. The gas-x extra strength gel caps are available to order on amazon but I might have a bit of a wait as they are despatched from the us, but hopefully it will be worth the wait:) I will keep in touch to let you know how I’m getting on.

          • Max says:

Excellent. I got it. This is very good to know. For several years people who write from England have not been able to find this stuff. It means that it’s catching on and there is now a UK distributor. I’ve put this in my list of resources and will include it in my re-write of the protocols soon. Thanks for the help on this Corin!

    Hi All,
I just got this link tonight. It is a movie created by the heirs to the Proctor and Gamble corporation. It is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen. It’s a must watch! If you go to the 49th minute in the movie, you’ll see their comments about the medical profession. Watch that five minute section and you will learn why you are sick and why going to a doctor is not going to help. Here is the link:

    Hi Nick,

I have just found your excellent website and have spent the last hour reading all of the posts. I feel better already. I am 67 and have been having palpitations, flutters, flip-flops, and recently an episode of Afib, since I was in my early 30′s. Same scenario as many others – normal structured heart. It was interesting that no one mentiioned having mitral valve prolapse. I have that, plus all of the syndrome that goes with it, including dysautonomia. Over the years, i have gotten use to the daily palpitations, non-exercise related tachycardia, etc. However, since I had the Afib a couple of years ago, my cardiologist is threatening to start me on a blood thinner when I reach the magic age of 70. I absolutely do not want to have any part of that. While I was in the ER with the Afib, they pumped me full of amiodarone and digoxin. I finally returned to normal sinus rhythm after 7 hours, but they have no idea if that was because of the drugs or if I would have done that on my own. After that experience, I read up on the drugs and was shocked to learn how dangerous they are. The only drug I put in my body is an 81mg. aspirin, which I have been on for years, and I don’t even like taking that. At one point years ago, I was put on a beta-blocker, but the side effects were horrendous and I was weaned off of it. I haven’t used caffeine for years and no longer drink any alcohol, as it will set off palpitations for sure. Not that I was a big drinker, but I did enjoy a glass of wine or a martini from time to time.

As I write this, I have been having an especially frequent surge of the palps which started overnight waking me out of a sound sleep, and having continued off and on this morning and afternoon. Like many other of the those who posted, I have more of a problem lying on my left side and have had nights where I didn’t even want to go to bed because every time I changed position, even just moving an arm, my heart would beat very fast for about 10 beats or so and then beat real slow. That hasn’t happened too much lately, but it really freaked me out. My cardiologist isn’t the least bit concerned – simply says I have a “wacky” heart. How’s that for reassurance?!!

I am intrigued by the aloe vera gel concept. I hadn’t considered PH as a possible factor in all of this. I do have numerous amalgam fillings, and many crowns on my teeth, which of course have amalgam restorations on the original teeth underneath. Also, my dad used to work for Becton-Dickinson when he was alive, and as kids, we used to break open thermometers, and play with the mercury!!! My younger brother has seemingly suffered no ill effects from it. In fact, out of 5 chiidren, I am the only one who suffers with the arrhythmias. I have always felt that it was because of the Mitral Valve Prolapse connection.

What are your thoughts on all of this. I have researched the issue ad nauseum over the years as well, but I’m always open to new information which might help me rid myself of these arrhythmias once and for all. You are so right – they invoke such fear and anxiety in those who suffer with them. After the Afib episode, I am now afraid to travel or even drive my self distances other than within a 20 mile radius of my home. I have always wanted to see Europe, but wouldn’t want to be on a plane anywhere, especially over the ocean. Maybe they are not life-threatening, but they are definitely life-altering.

Thank you for taking the time to read this much too long post.

    Deborah

    • Max says:

      Hi Deborah,
You are certainly a veteran of this issue. You are the same age as my brother. I am 57. Having a prolapsed Mitral Valve makes it somewhat different. I have not found anyone in the six years that I’ve been talking about this that has had PMV. That said, it does not mean that you still don’t have internal inflammation. There are a number of approaches I’d be considering if it was me.

    • I would want to knock down the inflammation for sure. So I would be alkalizing for sure. But not over doing it.
    • I would be having my amalgam fillings replaced with something else. Take a look at this study done at a University – http://youtu.be/9ylnQ-T7oiA
    • There is no question that mercury vapors are harmful. If your siblings didn’t develop symptoms that they can recognize, the mercury may be deposited in their fat cells.
    • I would reduce sugar
    • I would start using Relora – excellent natural her for stress and anxiety
    • I would take Aloe Gel every day
    • The other thing to do is floss the teeth really well every day. Bacteria in teeth are a huge risk factor in starting palpitations. It would be good to know after you have done this for a few months, what the status of you PMV is. When they diagnosed it, did they use an echo-cardiogram or ultra sound? Or did they just do it with ECG?

Ps. I’ve sent my report to you by email.

      Let’s stay in touch.

      Nick.

Hi Max: I’ve been suffering with severe heart palpitations for a week. I’ve read that you palps can be brought on by a virus in the body. I have felt extremely weak all week and on Thurs, the virus manifested itself as a fever, sinus and cough. I’ve been to the doc who says everything is fine and he automatically RX’d me Beta Blockers – NO THANKS!! I want to believe that it’s the virus that is causing this but I’m not sure. I was also reading you discussing the vagus nerve. I have a hiatal hernia and take prilosec on a daily basis for acid (this has been for YEARS) – is there a connection? I started taking natural, whole food supplements in February and have thought about taking EPA/DHA and a mineral supplement as well. I’m sitting here typing this and heaviness in my chest (and the flipflops) are unbearable. I am literally at the end of my rope.

I would love to receive a copy of the .pdf you’ve mentioned in several of your posts.

    • Max says:

      Hi Peggy,
I have just sent you a copy of the report I wrote on this. A virus can trigger palpitations. It is one of the triggers, but not the exclusive trigger. There are many triggers depending on who you are. For some people, not be “regular” can trigger palps. If these folks have to go to the bathroom and hold it for a while instead of going tot he washroom, it can trigger palpitations as well. Sound nuts I know.. but it’s true.

The report will lay it all out for you. It’s what cured me, so if my situation is similar to yours, it may help you too. I know it has helped dozens of people around the world.

It sounds like your issues are going to be related to digestion. I have some recommendations in the report for that. I would get hold of some Lily of the Desert Aloe Gel asap and get started on that part of it. That will settle your stomach down. Then read the report.

      Stay in touch!

      Nick (Max)

      • Peggy in NJ says:

Thanks Nick – I look forward to going through the report. I have had digestion issues for years and years and these severe heart palps for a week (I get a blip here and there around my period as well but have been told that hormones do not bring on palp issues (which I do not believe) – I’m sure you understand that when these happen, you want answers – you want a REASON – you want to get to the bottom of it. It’s scary as hell and so debilitating. It consumes your ever waking moment and ANY reprieve is so welcome. I’ve been in bed for 2 days straight with this virus and it’s now been over a week with the palps. This is not who I am and I need to get back to me. As I said before, I was RX’d Beta Blockers and my instincts told me to stay away from them. I believe in natural healing (I worked for an acupuncturist /master herbalist for 2 years and now work for a chiropractor) and know about the body’s ability to heal itself. I just don’t know if that’s possible without a little help when it comes to palps. Thanks again for any and all insight and have a wonderful holiday!

        • Max says:

          Hi Peggy,
I forgot to mention a couple of things in the last message. If you have a virus, the very best thing that I have ever come across is “Wild Oil of Oregano”. I discovered it by accident in 1997. I had picked up a wicked virus while working in a remote forest camp. It affected my lungs and hung on for many months. I had to go on “puffers” just to breath normally. My doctor, who was a friend of mine from university. We graduated together. He gave me Wild Oil of Oregano and in one week my lungs cleared up and I never used the puffers again.

Then when H1N1 hit, I tested it on several people locally. It “fixed” them immediately. So I went to the us Patent office to do some research. It turned out that at least three pharmaceutical companies that I could tell were trying to patent the active ingredient (carvacrol). I knew I had something. If you have a virus, get hold of some and try it. It must be Wild Oil of Oregano… and not just oil of oregano. There’s a big difference. Put three drops under your tongue twice daily for a week. You don’t take this stuff all of the time. After you use it for two weeks, quite and get some pro-biotics to replenish the stomach flora.

Anything, including hormones, that changes the metabolic and endocrine balance can trigger palpitations. Doctors study for 7 years and in all that time get only about 4 hours training in nutrition. Go figure.

          Nick

          • Peggy in NJ says:

Once again – thank you. My palps are non-stop and I’m trying to deal with them the best way I can this morning. This isn’t just a once in a while thing – it’s been always for a week. I have to get to a point where I “ignore” them to a certain extent or I’ll go insane. I pray that the information you have provided works for me and I can get on with living. I can tell you, this has been a HUGE wake up call for my life. I apologize for the multiple posts – sometimes you just need to talk things out…..I have a lot of changes to make….

          • Max says:

            Hi Peggy,
Don’t worry about multiple posts. The only thing that matters on this blog is people getting to the bottom of their palpitation issues. Talking it out is always good since the stress and anxiety can often be over the top. Can you send someone out to get the Aloe Gel for you? Also, get the extra strength GAS-X gel caps too. That will tell us right away if your palps are related to digestive disorders. You’ll know in about 20 minutes.

            Nick.

  • Peggy in NJ says:

Went out to get the Aloe Gel but all they had was juice – I ordered it online and should hopefully have it by midweek. Nick, you have truly given me hope that I can figure this out. This might not seem like a big thing to you, but it’s invaluable to me. For you to put yourself out here like this to help complete strangers like myself…well, it really means a lot. I also ordered Relacore and look forward to trying it as well. I’ll let you know the outcome – keep your fingers crossed for me :-)

    • Max says:

Peggy, don’t think I don’t know the importance of what we are doing. I sure do. I don’t mind saying that I was practically in tears when this first hit me. I thought my life was over. When I went into atrial fibrillation on the really bad attacks, I was already giving out my last wishes to my loved ones. I didn’t think my heart could take 220 beats per minute for two hours! The first year was total fright, anxiety and panic. But when I lived through it, I started to get into the “mad and angry” stage. I started putting my research skills to work. I am, at the core, a researcher – but not an ordinary researcher. I get to the truth quickly. I’m the kind of researcher where – If you are company owner or a politician or someone not serving mankind well – then you have reason to be afraid. When my doctor friend first told me that his profession was not about curing people, but simply about diagnosing a disease for which pharmaceutical drugs were the answer, then I rolled up my sleeves and went to work.

I was determined to beat this thing and it took me over 6 years to really get anywhere. But now, I’m able to keep my palpitations down completely. I know exactly how you feel and I will do everything in my power to make sure that you and anyone else who suffers has access to the truth.

You say you orded “relacore”… I hope you mean Relora. Swansons Vitamins online is the best price around for most of the supplements that I recommend. They have very fast delivery and they are just great to deal with.

I partnered with a fellow you had two heart attacks in the past and had high blood pressure. He was on three medications. He’s 65 right now. We partnered with a large company to produce our own pH drops which we use in our coffee and in our water. There is zero taste and the stuff just works fantastic. We created http://www.bestchoicewater.com to market that product. But we both have great jobs and I don’t really care if people buy from us or not. I want people to be well. Best Choice Water is more for our own benefit than anything else. We don’t really push it.

I hope you keep in touch with us, because I want to know how you are doing.

      Take care,

      Nick.

I been having palpitations for about 3 days straight I went to the er twice and they tell me everything is fine they say is do to anxiety my doctor tells me the same she even gave me this medication called zoloft I took it once and didn’t sleep at all that night I felt my palpitations even more I’m getting very irritate that they don’t go away.

    • Max says:

      Hi Arturo,
I sent you some information directly to your email address. I also sent you some information on magnesium. Read through it and see what you think.
You are much like the rest of us here. It’s good that you have already hit the “angry” stage. Many people get stuck in the “afraid” stage for a long time.

      • Arturo says:

Hey do you think grape juice would also help

        • Max says:

The problem with grape juice is the sugar. High sugar drinks are an issue. Grapes generally are an issue. They will give many people gas and they will ferment and cause pressure on internal organs. Overall, you are more likely to suffer palpitations if you drink grape juice and if you are already susceptible to palpitations.

          Max.

  • [...] I think I found your guy and he has a web site now. A guy named Max answers all of the questions, but under the About Us heading, has Nicks name there. Everything is spelled out in much detail here………. How To Stop Heart Palpitations In Three Days Or Less [...]

    • Max says:

      Hi Skylerfox!
Thanks for the recommendation. We are doing what we can to help people. I registered the blog and was typing the name of my company (Max Impact Solutions) when I noticed that the word “Max” ended up as the name the blog gave me. Oh well…. I’m Nick or Max or some even worse names if you ask my brother! It’s been getting so busy that I created a discussion group for this as well. I’ve been talking about heart palpitations since 2002 on the Irish Health Blog, but people need a forum that keeps going and they need to hear from people who have suffered what they are currently going through. So I created http://www.stopheartpalpitations.com/board/ as a discussion forum. I’m also starting to link my research there too.

When I was 25 I had my first heart episode..while sitting at my desk at work my heart flopped in my chest like a fish out of water…well that happened maybe once every six months and only lasted about three seconds when it did.

I went to a cardiologist after the first one only to feel like a lab rat and told nothing was wrong with me. When I was 30, I went back to be re tested due to the flutters coming a little more often however none ever having any debilitating symptoms.

Now 33, I started having strange symptoms…I began having minor episodes of feeling dizzy but no other symptom…then I began having feelings of sweaty hands/feet, tingling head, feeling faint, and the urge to escape…this happened a few times a week to almost every day…now terrified, I went back to the cardiologist.

He said he would do more tests however stated I was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks…I had more tests and again…NOTHING! I went home feeling relieved, but then the strangest thing happened.

I had been exercising on a regular basis 5 x a week about 45mins a day….all of a sudden I wake up one day and my heart is just flipping in my chest…it goes on for about an hour or two ( heart rate is normal) then I noticed if I was sedentary they would completely subside.. So then I try to exercise and it seems if my heart rate rises then the flopping begins.

Also if I get nervous or scared it flip flops. I don’t feel faint or sweaty but it sure stops me dead in my tracks. Some days are worse than others on whether it freaks out if I am just walking….I am scared to exercise and even scared to walk sometimes…I do take fish oil every day, one aspirin (because of the recent flopping problem) and do drink 4-6 bottles of Dasani water a day.

I quit taking the multi vitamin because it contained caffeine which I have no been caffeine free for two months because of all of this. Any suggestions for me?

    • Max says:

Wow… Good description Shannon. You are so much like many of us. The doctor is right about the anxiety, but that is caused by your subconscious mind fearing for the end! And if your doctor says your heart is fine, then that is really good news. As for the rest, it’s almost like you are TRYING to make yourself have palps. You are doing almost everything wrong.

First of all most palps are caused by internal inflammation. And internal inflammation is mostly caused by overly acidic conditions. In most people, it builds slowly over the years until they finally get cancer in their 60s or 70s.

In 2009, I tested 83 brands of water. You are drinking the 2nd worst one you could pick. The only way you could do worse is to choose Aquafina. Water that people drink, has to be pH 7.8 or better or else you are just throwing gas onto a fire.

If he go over to the discussion forum for this site (http://www.stopheartpalpitations.com/board) you will find my 12 page report on how I cured my own palpitations. It is in the “Heart Palpitations” area. I’m not allowed to say that my cure will fix you because the US FDA is actively protecting big pharmaceutical interests. Any procedure that takes money away from big pharma is normally attacked with a vengeance.

I am certain that you can rid yourself of heart palpitations. But after talking with hundreds of people online that have this same issue, there are only two questions.

      1. Are you coachable?
      2. Are you motivated enough to make changes?

If people fail, it is almost always because of these two reasons.

I wish you all the best. And if you want to talk about things, email me personally, or stop by the forum to chat about it.

i have palpating and want some more advice, thank you

    • Max says:

I would love to help you, but you drop 8 words, excluding the “thank you” and expect help? Have you read the posts of others? The one reason that people fail to find a cure for themselves is this: They don’t due their diligence. When your palpitations are scaring you enough, you’ll dig a little deeper in your quest for relief. I don’t mean to be short, but saying, “I’m sick. I want advice” just doesn’t cut it.

    Hi Nick/Max
I am very grateful to have found this site, after one of my many nights of reading other people’s posts on how bad their pvcs, palpitations are, reading other’s experiences helps just a tiny bit to calm my fears. But when the ticker is really playing up there is no calming me unfortunately. I would love for you to contact me as soon as you get the opportunity so that I can tell you my story. My most recent happenings will be of interest to you, or so I hope. And maybe even, with your knowledge, you might be able to help me. Thank you
