There is nothing quite like suffering a palpitation attack, except maybe dying! Palpitation sufferers get to experience dying-like symptoms several times a day! None of us can stand that feeling, and all of us want to do something about it. I really know what you are going through!

I get over 30,000 visitors to this site every year, and those who write pretty much all tell the same story. The most common first question they have is why doesn’t my doctor know this stuff? Honestly, I can’t answer that one. The medical industry appears to be driven by pharmaceutical sales.

Twelve years of testing and research has brought me to the point now where I can control or stop my palpitations completely. I can also bring them back, if I do the wrong things! Having this kind of control over the issue empowers me and allows me to live the life I want, and to be free of the worry and anxiety caused by palpitations.

Does this stuff sound familiar?

Most doctors will correctly tell you that palpitations won’t kill you. Worry might kill you, but the palpitations will not. The human heart is built to perform. I went into ER one time with a heart rate of 220 beats per minute. I urinated a quart every fifteen minutes because of the increased pressure on my kidneys. It took doctors about three hours to bring my heart rate down. Imagine running two full marathons and not being able to stop! I was exhausted after this episode, but as my cardiologist said, imagine how strong your heart must be to do that and not tap out!

Of the thousands of letters I received over the years, this is the common theme. We are all in the same boat here. That said, I may have good news for you.

To fix your problem, you are going to have to be willing to change. Most people are resistant to change. If that is you, then this site is not for you. But if you are tired of suffering, then keep reading.

I’m going to talk about why you have palpitations and what you can do about it. Unfortunately, the damage you’ve done to your body is going to require that you take a few supplements and make some fundamental dietary changes. If you won’t give some food up, then you don’t care enough to beat this thing. Once you have corrected the damage, you will be able to cut back the supplements to a minimalist routine!

If you drink sodas, then you are drinking fluid that is pH 2.5. The only thing you can do that is worse than this is to drink battery acid, or take pharmaceutical drugs. One single can of soda will require you to drink 32 glasses of high alkaline water, just to neutralize the damage from that one soda! This situation creates chronic acidosis.

Why Is Chronic Acidosis Bad For Me?

Acid always leads to inflammation, yeast and candida overgrowth as well as a range of other internal complications. Chronic acidosis triggers a state of dysbiosis in our bodies that leads to hormonal and endocrine imbalances that cascade out of control over time. Inflammation is the bodies first response to trauma. Even stress can cause acidosis that leads to inflammation. Exercise, as well, leads to chronic acidosis.

Why Does It Feel Like It’s Connected To My Digestion?

In almost every case, as I mentioned earlier, inflammatory response leads to yeast and candida overgrowth, and this influences factors that interfere with normal digestion. Suddenly you can’t digest your food as well as you once could. This is one of the reasons that you wake up at 2 or 3 am with a pounding heart!

I Fear Going To Bed At Night!

Many of you will find that when you lay on your left side when going to bed at night, you will get palps within about three to five minutes. This happens because the overgrown inflammation presses on one of the nerves that transverse the thoracic cavity. It is very common with about 50% of those who have taken the time to write indicating that this happens to them. Others will bring on palpitations simply by bending over to pick something off the floor!  Another way some people bring it on is to consume something really cold like a cold water or beer.

I Cannot Believe That Doctors Won’t Address This Issue!

Doctors, unfortunately, are trained and conditioned to see your issue as a symptom that needs to be masked. They’ll offer you an array of beta blockers and other drugs. I was given Rhythmol, and my brother was offered Atenolol. These drugs will slow down the palps at first, but they sure do make you feel awful. I could not see going through life feeling like that. After a week on Rhythmol, I decided they had to go. I really needed my own fix. I had no idea it would take me 6 years to find it, but bit by bit I pieced together the risk factors, then planned my recovery.

Below you’ll find a compiled list of risk factors, representing about 12 years of research so far. Before you go jumping off a bridge when you see this as your daily routine, you should know that once a person has control of the inflammation, having your favorites “stuff” is not a game breaker. You will be able to cheat. But you won’t be able to make it a lifestyle!

Over the first six years that I spent researching, I joined dozens of health blogs and I chatted with people all over the world, who also suffered palpitations. I databased their lifestyles, diets, physical types, their environment and their supplement intake. I studied several hours every day at the US National Library of Medicine, the Duke Phyto-Nutritional Database, and at the US Patent office. And most importantly, I got access to the US National Clinical Trials database to see what the rest of the world was testing.

It wasn’t long before I developed a list of do’s and don’ts to help control my palpitations. I quickly compiled my risk factors into a big list. I then turned that list into what I call my regimen for controlling palpitations. Today, I can say with pleasure that I am completely free of palpitations and atrial fibrillation!

That said, I want those of you reading this blog to know that there is no magic pill for curing heart palpitations. People all over the world are propagandized by big business to reach for the magic cure – which in most cases is some kind of toxic pharmaceutical pill. You CAN cure yourself of palpitations – if you are sufficiently motivated. But its going to mean some work, some change, and some sacrifices.

Getting Help

I will make the regimen available to anyone who asks for it. The regimen is just a guide that I created and used to end my palpitation nightmare. Your body and your environment may be different than mine. Also, you should never make changes without consulting with your own doctor.

The cure is YOUR responsibility and I am not going to sugar coat it for you (pardon the pun). It will most certainly involve some supplements and dietary changes. But if you want to stop having palpitations badly enough, you will make the sacrifices.

On the bright side, once you get your palpitations under control, you can loosen up a bit. Your heart will always tell you when it’s time to tighten up again!

So, What Is The Cause of My Palpitations? And what are these risk factors you’ve been talking about?

  • Failing to Floss Teeth Daily, since bacteria in teeth have a powerful effect on the heart;;
  • Mercury in your fillings, Dentists in Europe just banned Amalgam fillings;;
  • Toxic foods and drink, from big Pharmaceutical and Chemical companies;;
  • Fish and fish oil contain Mercury from the oceans;;
  • Refined sugar and fructose; We’ll feature several articles on this subject alone;;
  • Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners, Not fit for human consumption;;
  • Smoking; There is no excuse to still be doing this;;
  • Excessive alcohol, Sugar and alcohol lays waste to your body;
  • Cheap Wine that is cured with sodium metabisulphate;
  • Iodine deficiency, leading to thyroid issues;
  • Carbonated beverages, which are all acidic drinks;
  • Some commercially bottled water is also acidic;
  • Sugary juice concentrate, Often loaded with sugar;
  • Heavy animal fat foods; A little is good. Too much is bad;
  • Wheat and gluten products, Because of the big chemical companies, these are not safe;
  • Most bread and pastries; and,
  • Excessive exercising;

I am not a doctor, but I have done 12 years research on this. It is clear that western diets are loaded with foods that promote excess acidity in our bodies. When we drink tap water – or even worse – commercially bottled water, we are often getting water that is acidic (pH 5.5). Your body wants to be pH 7.365 give or take a small margin. Your body will always try to reduce the acid by taking minerals from your bones to buffer the acid. Over the long haul, this leads to things like IBS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, arthritis, and many more diseases related to chronic acidosis – including cancer!

What about Environmental Factors?

We all face a myriad of toxins and chemicals in the environment. Some of you will be drinking water that is really not fit for human consumption. Others will live in areas where you allow them to put toxic chemicals like fluorine and chlorine into your drinking water under the illusion that it is somehow making you safer.

In reality, it’s not about you. It’s about saving their investment in the pipes. They don’t want the pipes to rust out or get clogged. If they made the water in city pipes fit for human consumption, then those pipes would quickly rust and decay. So the treatment of that water has to take place once it reaches your tap.  The city is just looking after the city pipes like you should be looking after your arteries.

Many of you must be aware of the controversy on TV over toxic vaccines that use mercury as an adjuvant! Mercury was one of the toxins that I identified very early on as a risk factor in heart palpitations. This is why I recommend that mercury fillings be taken out of your teeth and replaced with proper fillings.
